A Project Unlike Any Other: 1250 Bel Air Road

In mid-2018, QuickDraw Fund Control was selected to provide Inspection and Fund Control services for the renovation of the property located at 1250 Bel Air Road, Los Angeles, CA 90077. For this project, we worked with Skylark Capital Management, Inc and Roman James Design Build.

 

 

Originally built in 1993, the world-class renovation of this 14,000 square foot estate was an exciting project and experience unlike anything we had ever seen or worked on. Taking the home down to bare walls, Roman’s vision was extraordinarily grand and detailed. He sourced the finest materials from around the globe and selected the Southlands’ most accomplished and skilled tradesman to renovate an estate that is nothing short of spectacular.

 

The renovation was, in reality, a new construction build. Cutting edge design changes were implemented to increase livable space and enhance views of the house, both inside and out. The finest finish materials from around the world were sourced and hand-selected for each room.

 

 

State-of-the-art mechanical, plumbing, solar and electrical systems, windows and collapsing sliding glass doors, whole house automation and backup systems were installed.

 

The project presented unique challenges with staging materials and multi-floor, custom construction. Updating the free-standing pool structure, with the pool situated above and the cabana below, required additional engineering and hillside construction.
